On 4 September, Galatasaray signed Tanguy Ndombélé on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, and the midfielder was limited to 123 minutes in seven matches this season.
Earlier this month, Milliyet journalist Nevzat Dindar said that the 26-year-old player had difficulties in Istanbul because he was overweight.
Fotospor said the Tottenham player’s weight problem ‘cannot be resolved at the desired level’.
The former Lyonnais was 6kg overweight when he arrived in Istanbul, it is alleged, and the club’s doctors and nutritionists responded immediately.
The newspaper also said her body fat percentage is 20% and her goal is to reduce it to 16.
However, “nothing has changed” significantly as the 26-year-old man’s weight has decreased by 2kg and his body fat percentage has not changed.
According to the report, his weight “continues to be an issue” and this could affect his stay in Türkiye.
Another report from Fotospor said that Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk had “lost patience” with the Tottenham player and was unhappy with his attitude and lack of professionalism.
The Turkish champions have the option to make him stay permanently, but the agency said they will terminate his contract as he has “contributed nothing” so far.
Galatasaray have identified AZ Alkmaar’s Dani de Wit as a target to replace Ndombélé, possibly in January.
The former player’s contract expires in 2024 and Galatasaray believe they can sign him for €1 million.
If that happens, Tottenham may have to find a solution for the Frenchman in January.
