I’m sure Kelce would be thrilled to receive both awards. He has positioned himself in the national discourse to do pretty much anything he wants to do as he enters the next phase of his career.
Jason Kelce, the center for the Philadelphia Eagles, is competing for more titles this season than just the title of Super Bowl champion. Kelce is one of the finalists that People Magazine revealed for the coveted title of “Sexiest Man Alive.”
Kelce will have to fight off the likes of Timothee Chalamet, Jaime Foxx, and Usher but being in the final four for this type of award can’t be a bad thing. The Eagles’ offensive lineman has gotten a lot of national attention since the Super Bowl last year. He and his brother Travis have a highly successful podcast and the Taylor Swift relationship has vaulted the Kelce family into the national conversation.
Would Prefer A Super Bowl
If you were to ask Kelce, I’m sure he would say that winning the Super Bowl title is more important to him than receiving the People Magazine award. The good news is that after defeating the Cowboys in week nine, the Eagles are now leading the NFC. They appear to be headed quickly for the top overall seed as they lead every team in the NFC by two games. The Eagles have won significant games in the past, so they are capable of withstanding a difficult second half of the season. Kelce has made hints that this may be his last season on the field, and he would love to end it with a Super Bowl victory.

NFL Star’s Brother Throws Massive Shots At Grant Williams
A Philadelphia Eagles jersey worn by Grant Williams has enraged Dak Precott’s brother.
Grant Williams wore a Philadelphia Eagles jersey to a press conference following the Dallas Mavericks’ victory over the Charlotte Hornets. Tad Prescott, the brother of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, expressed his annoyance with Grant’s actions, saying he doesn’t care for the city’s supporters.
“Is he really this serious? You represent a Dallas team, and this is the kind of sh*t you do? Must not desire the city’s or the fans’ affection.”
Tad Prescott’s overreaction is really astounding. He is not a native of Dallas and does not necessarily support all of the Dallas sports teams just because he plays there. Although Luka Doncic is an international player who was introduced to sports through Dallas teams, he has assimilated into Dallas culture and is well-known for being an avid fan of both the Cowboys and the MLB World Series-winning Texas Rangers.
Grant is from Texas, so it’s likely that he was just playing troll. Up until the 2022 season, Jalen Brunson, a Philadelphia native, would frequently trade jabs with Luka about the Cowboys and Eagles, making him an Eagles superfan on the Mavericks roster. At least Grant won’t be the only Eagles fan—standout rookie Dereck Lively II is an Eagles fan as well.
You could argue that Grant doesn’t appreciate the history of the team if he attended a Mavs press conference wearing a Heat jersey, but it’s absurd to go as far as Tad Prescott did for the NFL. Though it’s not right to say that wearing an Eagles jersey is an insult to the people of Dallas, he does want more people to support his brother.
