After five years at Tottenham, the 18-year-old center back advanced swiftly through the ranks to join the Under-21 team.
Dorrington has played in three EFL Trophy games and eight Premier League 2 games this season, recording one assist.
The 6-foot-5-inch defender for Tottenham Hotspur has contributed to the Spurs U21 team’s perfect record through eight Premier League 2 games so far this season.
To put it plainly, Spurs insiders have heaped praise on Dorrington, who is an incredible talent.
For example, Alasdair Gold of football.london described the 18-year-old Spurs gem as a “terrific young defender” in a Q&A earlier this season.
According to Dean Jones of GiveMeSport, Dorrington has garnered greater admiration from “many close observers” than Phillips has.
Dorrington might be too young to start against Wolves, but Phillips, who played for Blackburn, has senior experience, so he might see some action off the bench.
