According to reports, France are set to host Rugby World Cup winners South Africa and runners-up New Zealand in the November 2024 and 2025 Tests.
The Blues take on two Southern Hemisphere giants in World Cup on their home ground, beating the All Blacks in their opening match before suffering a one-point quarter-final defeat to the Springboks.
As attention now turns to the next World Cup cycle, rumors have been circulating about the identity of France’s next opponents.

After the Six Nations in 2024, Fabien Galthie’s side are expected to tour Argentina in July’s international tournament.
According to the European Rugby Championship USA’s Los Pumas will host France in a two-match test series and added that the Blues have space in their schedule to potentially face Uruguay on their South American tour.
France and Argentina will face off for a third time in 2024, reports Midi Olympique, which says Galthie’s side will face Japan, New Zealand and the Pumas in November.
France have not toured Argentina since 2016 and have only faced Los Pumas once since Galthie took over as head coach, when the Blues won 29-20 in 2021.

Midi Olympique reports that France will begin their international fixtures in November 2025 with a match against two-time defending world champions South Africa, who knocked Les Bleus out of the World Cup on their home soil.

Traditionally, France have played most of their test matches at the Stade de France, but have recently taken their November internationals to other arenas around the country.

The November 2025 test period is expected to be the final period before World Rugby’s global restructuring plan comes into force, replacing traditional international matches system in July and November.
