Chris Davies, who became a top contender for Swansea’s managerial job, joined Spurs’ coaching staff in the summer.
The 38-year-old Davies has a long history with Swansea, having served as Brendan Rodgers’ assistant coach from 2010 to 2012. His relationship with Rodgers goes beyond Swansea; as a dependable assistant, he moved with the master manager to Liverpool, then to Celtic and Leicester City. Davies has contributed significantly to Rodgers’ coaching setups during this journey.

His career as a coach has been steadily progressing, and his work with elite teams greatly strengthens his qualifications.
Additionally, since the club is currently going through a transitional period, it would be prudent to maintain the current staff in order to maintain some degree of consistency in the way things are operating.
The coaching group of Ange Postecoglou, which includes Matt Wells, Mile Jedinak, Ryan Mason, and Davies, has been instrumental in determining Tottenham’s strategy this year.
