Tottenham player is expected to depart Ange, with reports citing potential destinations
A Tottenham Hotspur player “will be leaving” Ange Postecoglou’s team after being identified as a top transfer target by the transfer chief of one club.

Spurs seem to have found a winning team once more, despite the recent spate of injuries to the team over the past fifteen days.
After defeating Newcastle 4-1 the previous weekend, Postecoglou’s team defeated relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest 2-0 on Friday. With two wins in a row, they are now tied for second place in the Premier League with Man City, who are just outside the top four.
Spurs are currently improving with Ben Davies at left center-back and Dejan Kulusevski in Maddison’s usual position. Still without both James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, two big summer additions who started the season brilliantly.
Richarlison is now the central striker, and Son Heung-min has been moved back out wide. This seems to be the best strategy the Spurs have found to deal with the loss of Maddison and van de Ven, as Richarlison is starting to regain form and Kulusevski plays well in the middle.
Even after Yves Bissouma was sent off with 20 minutes left, Postecoglou was ecstatic when questioned about the outcome and performance.
Postecoglou commented on Tottenham’s victory over Forest, saying, “I was really pleased with both, with the win tonight” (via football.london).
“They’re in a difficult situation and are frantic to get a response.
There are numerous balls in the box, including throws and free kicks, and you have to deal with that. This is just one of the many ways they test you. I thought we handled it pretty well, for the most part. We nevertheless produced some good chances, scored some goals, and displayed character and resiliency. Overall, we felt like we handled things pretty well.”
However, one player who was not involved in the victory was defender Eric Dier, who was out of favor. Following his return from injury, the Englishman was once again used as a substitute last night. Postecoglou’s preference to play Romero alongside a makeshift Davies in the middle is a clear sign of the Spurs manager’s lack of confidence in Dier.

Additionally, the 29-year-old’scontractexpires at the conclusion of this campaign. Given the final word on his future provided by Roma Metropolitan Magazine (via Sport Witness), there doesn’t seem to be much hope for a renewal.
