The decision by senior assistant manager Chris Davies to stay at Tottenham instead of accepting an offer from Swansea gave the team a significant boost today.

According to the report from last week, the Welsh club, who had become a strong contender for the managerial job following Michael Duff’s dismissal, made an offer to the club, which was turned down.

Ange insisted that Davies is the only one who can decide whether or not to let go of his senior assistant.

The club prepared a second offer to temp Davies, as Sky Sports later reported, and they did.

But according to the most recent information from BBC Sports Wales, the Welsh team’s attempt to name Davies as their new manager was unsuccessful.

The report claims that the assistant manager for Tottenham has made the decision to stay with the team.

Davies is reportedly loving working with Ange Postecoglou and has had a big influence behind the scenes.

Spurs have won back-to-back games against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle to snap a five-game losing streak.

Their next matchup is a difficult one against Sean Dyche’s Everton, who have been playing excellently lately as well.

After making a careless tackle against Nottingham Forest that led to his dismissal, Yves Bissouma has come under fire.

Around the 69-minute mark, the 27-year-old made late contact with Forest Captain Ryan Yates, catching him high on the leg with his studs.

At first, the midfield player received a yellow card from the referee. He upgraded the yellow card to a red one, and rightfully so, after the VAR told him to review on the pitch-side monitor.

By the 70th minute, Postecoglou and his team had reduced to just 10. Thankfully, though, it had no effect on their 2-0 lead, and they won the game handily and with little lasting damage.

Due to suspension, the Mali international will miss the next four games. Additionally, he is anticipated to miss several weeks of Spurs games due to his international duty for the AFCON, which begins on January 13.

However, former Nottingham Forest midfielder David Prutton called his recent actions “awful.”
