Just over two hours before Tuesday’s game started, Andrew Wiggins was added to his team’s injury report, joining the Point God as someone who might not be able to play due to illness.

On the Warriors’ injury report as of 3:30 p.m. (PT), Wiggins was not listed. An hour later, his name came up with Paul’s, Draymond Green’s suspension, and Gary Payton II’s ongoing recovery.

As rookie standout Brandin Podziemski was benched last week, Wiggins’ probable absence would come at a particularly bad time. However, the ten-year veteran has finally started to move past his terrible early-season struggles.

In Golden State’s second victory in as many nights against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, Wiggins tallied 25 points and pulled down seven rebounds. In a close fourth quarter, he not only scored 10 points and drained two triples, but he also filled in for Stephen Curry, shooting 9 of 12 from the field and 4 of 6 from beyond the arc.

If Andrew Wiggins is not available against Boston, Moses Moody will likely play a large amount of minutes off the bench. Additionally, more playing time for rookie big man Trayce Jackson-Davis, a Rip City game-changer, could push Dario Saric to the front.
