A potential Harry Kane replacement Dominic Solanke, a striker for Bournemouth, is being closely watched by Tottenham.
This is in line with a recent report from The Sun, which states that the former Liverpool player has been identified as a possible target and that Spurs are aware that they need to sign a striker.
According to the report, Spurs have sent scouts to watch the in-form Premier League player play multiple times this season and are “closely watching” him.
It also says that he is a player who “ticks a lot of boxes” for Spurs, and if he keeps up his current level of play, a summer bid might be made.
This season, Solanke has been amazing, netting 11 goals in the league through 17 games thus far. With Jarrod Bowen, he currently shares the third-highest goal total. He is the only player with more goals scored than Mo Salah (12) and Haaland (14). (Stars of Premier League)
At an early age, Solanke played for Chelsea and Liverpool, but he was never really successful there.
His strong performance for Cherries may now warrant a summer transfer to one of his former teams’ Premier League rivals.

About the center-forward, the 27-year-old told Infobae, “He looks very good.” It is difficult to adjust when you first come to Europe, and it is much more difficult in a league like the Premier League because of the nature of the training sessions.
As opposed to the beginning, when you arrive and don’t understand anything, he listens, learns, has already had minutes, feels more at ease, and knows the language.
“There is a lovely group and a Spanish-speaking dressing room. Although we’re not far off from him, he will get far more playing time and eventually reach his objectives.
I completely anticipate that Tottenham will loan Veliz out in January, possibly to a Championship team, to allow the striker to acclimate to the rigors and physicality of the English game.
Spurs, however, may hold off on approving a loan until the end of the following month in order to ensure that they have plenty of options up front, since Son will be away at the Asian Cup.
