According to reports, Celtic wants to strengthen their central defense line and is targeting Scott McKenna, a defender for Nottingham Forest.

McKenna, a reliable member of Scotland’s national squad, moved from Aberdeen to Nottingham Forest in 2020 for an estimated £3 million. Though he had a strong start to the season, the 26-year-old has since found it difficult to get consistent playing time, appearing in just five games. The possible move may have been motivated by this lack of playing time.
McKenna has long piqued the interest of Celtic; the team had previously watched the defender while he was at Aberdeen. But the situation at Parkhead now makes the move all the more intriguing.
