Luis Sinisterra’s Colombia teammate Arias, 26, has clocked up 61 appearances for Fluminense during the 2023 campaign – having a hand in 29 goals. He played against Man City in the Club World Cup Final It comes after Leeds, Rangers and West Ham were all linked with a move for the Colombian attacker ahead of the January window. He is currently contracted to the Brazilian side until the summer of 2026.

Arias has spoken about his future and made it clear that he could be tempted to leave Fluminense with European suitors attracted. But, he is under contract until 2026 – and could sign on to stay in Brazil.
Do Leeds need him? Well, he operates best from the wings – and Leeds are well-stocked in those areas. Other positions are taking priority. If we sell Willy Gnonto or Cree Summerville, then he needs signing. But if Gnonto or Summerville end up staying at Leeds beyond the end of this transfer window, then there is really no need to go and sign Arias – or another winger. Perhaps, a summer target for the Whites.
