Cleveland Browns One Remark
Fans are already thinking ahead to 2024, barely a week after the Browns’ hard-fought, Wild Card loss to Houston last Saturday.
Despite facing extreme hardship, Cleveland managed to qualify for the NFL Playoffs through a remarkable amount of luck.
This Thursday, during an episode of Pardon My Take Podcast, the 16-year veteran hinted at a potential return to Cleveland.
For Cleveland in his six games, Flacco was outstanding. He finished with 1,923 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, giving him a dazzling 4-2 record. He also completed passes for more than 300 yards in five of his six games.
Stretching those stats across a 17-game season, Flacco and the Browns would have probably finished with an 11- or 12-win season. Flacco would have completed his passing for 5,384 yards, 39 touchdowns, and—wait—28 interceptions.
Cleveland is in a unique situation right now. Regarding finances, there is no debate over the team’s quarterback for the upcoming campaign. Deshaun Watson is here to stay.
