The eighth interview for the head coaching position has been concluded by the Titans.
Aaron Glenn, the defensive coordinator for the Lions, wrapped up a video conference with the squad on Friday night.
Since 2021, Glenn has been the defensive coordinator for the Lions. He was recently voted the best coordinator in an NFLPA study involving over 1,600 players.
Glenn was the defensive backs coach for the New Orleans Saints from 2016 to 2020 and the assistant defensive backs coach for the Cleveland Browns from 2014 to 2015 before coming to the Lions.
Glenn spent fifteen seasons as an NFL player before moving into the staff and coaching roles. Out of Texas A&M, he was selected by the Jets in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft (12th overall). Glenn was a player with the Texans and Jets (1994–2001).
The Detroit Lions, who are gearing up to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon at Ford Field, will host their second postseason game in as many weeks in less than 48 hours. The Lions have just made public their final injury report ahead of their Divisional Round game against the Buccaneers. They are in excellent condition, as you will soon see.
The Lions remain healthy as they have been from the beginning of the season, according to the last injury report that was made public.
In the NFL Playoffs, winning means moving on to the next round, while losing means your season is over. Even though the Bucs defeated the Lions 20–6 in October, you can be sure the Bucs will be out for retribution. Thankfully, the Lions’ roster is healthier than it was when the two teams last faced off, which bodes well for their chances on Sunday afternoon.
This season’s Lions are probably improving the mental well-being of their supporters.
With the team playing in its first NFC championship game since the 1990s on Sunday, the fan base is witnessing a deeper postseason run than it has in decades.
