NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and company are continuing to garner elite quarterbacks to come to play in Neyland Stadium as a Brentwood Academy five-star recruit committed to the Volunteers on Monday morning.
George MacIntyre, of Brentwood Academy, announced his commitment to the Vols at about 9:30 a.m. at BA.
MacIntyre told WSMV4′s Chris Harris that he looks forward to running Heupel’s offense and that it played a big part in his decision to commit to Rocky Top.
According to 247 Sports and On3 Elite, the Brentwood Academy product is ranked as the No. 3 quarterback recruit in the nation and the No. 1 in Tennessee for the class of 2025.
The Vols already have a five-star set to run the show next season in sophomore Nico Iamaleava and 2024 four-star Jake Merklinger of Calvary Day School (Georgia) coming in as a freshman.
