Leeds United Head Coach Has Race To Sign £4.5m Winger Amidst Tough Offers From Rivals Just Because…
The Whites are currently on the prowl for at least one full-back as they look to compensate for the departures of Djed Spence and Luke Ayling, with the former seeing his loan spell at Elland Road ended early and the latter securing a loan switch to Middlesbrough.
The decision to end Spence’s loan early was a major one by Daniel Farke considering he doesn’t have a huge amount of options in this area now – and he would surely have known that Ayling could depart this month.
They seem to be scrambling to address this area though, with plenty of players being linked with a switch to Elland Road in recent weeks.
Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams was reportedly one of those targets – but he is believed to be unavailable at this point and that has all but ruled out a switch to West Yorkshire for the Welshman.
Liverpool’s Calvin Ramsay has also been linked with an Elland Road switch along with West Ham United’s Ben Johnson, but as things stand, they will be playing the remainder of the season with a limited number of options at full-back.
