WORSE NEWS this affect the skills coaches of the team because..
The tight end had a dream before he became THE Travis Kelce, who is presently one of the Kansas City Chiefs’ top stars. He recently shared this dream on his podcast, “New Heights.” During a conversation with his brother Jason Kelce on his draft pick, he expressed his admiration for all Cleveland and Ohio-based clubs in general. The brothers Kelce hail from Cleveland. To be honest, Travis had no idea that he would wind up on a team in the Mid-West other than the Cleveland Browns. During this talk, Kelce disclosed that at the moment, he cried and virtually begged his college coach to fulfill his ambition.
It’s perhaps for the best that things didn’t turn out the way Travis Kelce had hoped, as we now know. What he stated was this: “I believe I sobbed in Coach Chudzinski’s face throughout the draft process, pleading with him to let me f—— play for Cleveland. Playing for the Browns was like a dream come true for me. being a Cleveland sports enthusiast. Playing for any of the three Cleveland sports teams, much less the Browns, is an unfathomable fantasy. He is currently in Miami with tight end coach Jon Embree. This guy is definitely too soft, which is probably why they didn’t draft me because I was bawling in front of them both. He’s a mess at the moment.”
Travis Kelce might not have been a part of perhaps one of the most significant and prosperous NFL dynasties in the history of the game if the Cleveland Browns had selected him in the first round of the draft. It appears that the Kansas City Chiefs will be dominating the league for a very long time. Maybe Travis Kelce may realize his ambition of playing for the Cleveland Browns for at least one season after he feels he has no more to give the Chiefs. But for the time being, he is still dedicated to Kansas and will work with Patrick Mahomes to continue creating this dynasty.
