Amid injury woes, Tyrese Maxey Sends a Strong Message to the 76ers
For the Philadelphia 76ers, the All-Star break could not have come at a better time. They have had to cope with a long list of injuries to several important players over the last few weeks.
Joel Embiid is the Sixer who is currently the most notable player injured. On February 7, the reigning MVP was hurt in a game against the Golden State Warriors. In the upcoming weeks, Embiid is anticipated to undergo another evaluation following surgery.
The Sixers have missed a significant amount of time without two other starters besides Embiid. Nic Batum and De’Anthony Melton are those people. In addition, injuries have kept Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris in and out of the lineup.

The Sixers lost to the Heat 109-104 in their last game prior to the All-Star break. Maxey, who finished with 30 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, gave it everything he had to spearhead the offensive. Other noteworthy standouts included Paul Reed (18 points, 12 rebounds) and Buddy Hield (22 points, 10 assists).
The Sixers are in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference standings as the regular season approaches its conclusion. Their record is 32-22, which puts them in fifth place right now. They remain, though, reachable by force. The Milwaukee Bucks, who are in third place, are just two and a half games ahead of the Sixers.

According to reports, Morey called for players like Devin Booker and Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns.

After being told no, Morey enquired as to Bradley Beal’s and Devin Booker’s availability as well. Naturally, those were rejected as well, according to insiders.”
