ikel Arteta has confirmed that Arsenal have a number of players in contention for Sunday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United. The Gunners face being without a number of key players due to injury following last week’s win over Liverpool.
The north Londoners travel to the London Stadium in search of a third successive win. However, despite hitting good form, Arsenal are without a number of players.
Fortunately, it looks as though Bukayo Saka will be fit to play against West Ham. The Hale End star was taken off following a collision with Darwin Nunez last week but Arteta has confirmed that he’s OK. “He’s been recovering this week and he looks OK,” the Spaniard said.
In his pre-match press conference, Arteta also provided the latest injury news on first team trio Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey. Jesus missed the 3-1 win over Liverpool due to a recurrence of a knee issue while Zinchenko lasted only 45 minutes after flaring up the calf problem that saw him miss two games in December.
